- *1940 in Berlin (DE), lives in Hannover, Münster and Berlin (DE)
In this work by „Total-Artist“ Timm Ulrichs an FM radio is sunk into a block of plaster. The radio is fully functional. Upon moving real close to the object the viewer can hear the crackling sound of the radio inside. „Radio“ seems to imprison sound and directing it into o discrete object – the plaster cube. This results in the impression that the sounds emanate from insde the plaster produced by the object itself.
