A sound structure is emitted from the glass funnels of the neon shelf that originates from the vehicle noises of an ascending Alpine rack railway. Traction rope running across metal pulleys modulates a singing, droning sound. The sonic properties of the glass funnels lend the sound a particularly sculptural presence.
Single, electronically triggered lights illuminate the eleven florescent tubes from zero to one-hundred percent in different curves, intervals and formations. Punctuated by pauses, the light and sound structure swirl around an apparently absent center.
