A bundle of more than 1000 microphones hangs from the ceiling like a bunch of ripe grapes. Shilpa Gupta has rewired the microphones to create loudspeakers that play a multi-channel sound and speech composition. The text picks up on the visual impression of heaviness. I keep falling at you deals with opposites: with endless falling, with burial, being buried and disappearing.
I keep falling at you
But I keep falling at you (chorus, repeat)
Your garden is growing on me
I will take it away with me
To a land which you can mark no more
Where distances don’t grow anymore
I keep falling at you
But I keep falling at you (chorus, repeat)
